Kew Green Hotels get ready for Garden Re-Leaf as part of their £200k pledge f0r 2019

Greenfingers Charity’s partnership with Kew Green Hotels is going from strength to strength. As we embark on our special 20th Anniversary Year, Kew Green have pledged to raise another £200k for Greenfingers.

With Garden Re-Leaf Day just a few weeks away, Kew Green staff are taking on a huge variety of individual and team events, from cycle challenges and raffles, to cake sales and entertainment evenings such as quiz nights, both on and off site. Many of their amazing employees have been signing up for endurance challenges, such a Snowdon Climb on 22nd March (which is Garden Re-Leaf Day) and 12-hour bikeathons! Each and every one, raising important funds towards making our magical hospice gardens a reality.

We were delighted to hear from Neil Sewell, MD of the Owned Hotels Division, at our AGM a few weeks back. He talked us through how the brilliant partnership between Kew Green and Greenfingers was created, with a simple search on Google for the word 'Green'! It's amazing how this has spectacularly blossomed into a hugely successful collaboration, with staff across 55 hotels around the UK raising an amazing £233k since the partnership began in 2016. Find out more about the partnership here.

Huge thanks to Kew Green for all their amazing efforts and their generous pledge, we very much look forward to working together in 2019.
