British Garden Centres Go Red For Charity

British Garden Centres Go Red For Charity

‘Get some red on your head’ is British Garden Centres fundraising initiative to raise money and awareness for ‘Greenfingers’ and ‘Mind’ Charities. Running from Saturday 6th - 21st June, here's the why and what they are doing...

‘Greenfingers Charity’ has always been close to our hearts and we have supported them on many projects and fundraising events in the past. Greenfingers is a national charity dedicated to supporting life-limited children who spend time in hospices around the UK, along with their families, by creating inspiring gardens for them to relax in and benefit from.

‘Mind’ provide advice and support to empower anyone experiencing mental health problems. They campaign to improve services, raise awareness and promote understanding. Every year one in four of us will experience a mental health problem. The Coronavirus pandemic is having a profound effect on our nations mental health so there’s never been a more significant time to raise awareness.

British Garden Centres teams across the UK are showing their support by dying their hair red for two weeks. For each team member who 'gets some red on their head' British Garden Centres will donate £10 to each charity. We, and they would love it if you could support the challenge by making a donation. You can do this in-store or by visiting their Just Giving Page.

Thank you British Garden Centres for putting the FUN into FUNdraising!
