Kew Green Hotels smash £200,000 fundraising mark

We were delighted to hear that the staff at Kew Green Hotels have smashed the £200,000 fundraising mark since the charity partnership started in 2016.

Kew Green teams have been busy helping to raise awareness of the charity and putting the FUN into FUNdraising in their hotels across the country.

Cyclathons, rowing competition,  dinners, raffles, World Cup sweepstakes, bag packing, car washes, Go Green for Greenfingers days and entertainment evenings have been taking place as well as endurance events such as the Great North Run, Snowdon climbs and marathons to raise money to create magical hospice gardens for life limited children and their families.

Linda Petrons, Director of Fundraising and Communications at Greenfingers Charity said: "In less than 2 years, that’s a magnificent achievement and has far exceeded all of our expectations. Our very grateful thanks to every single member of the Kew Green Hotels team for their commitment and passion; it’s truly uplifting to see continued enthusiasm, loyalty and also the fun that’s being put into FUNdraising. The money raised so far will not only make a difference to life-limited children and their families as we build and plan more gardens for the year ahead, but the legacy from this partnership will I’m sure make a difference for many many years to come. We are very much looking forward to supporting teams across the UK in the months ahead and of course throughout 2019, our special celebratory year."
