With the right care, these spaces can continue to offer opportunities for play, discovery and connection, alongside moments of calm, comfort and reflection for children, families and hospice teams.

Garden Ambassadors: Caring for Our Gardens

Funded by Greenfingers, our Garden Ambassador Programme brings together a wonderful team of horticulturists and industry experts who help hospices care for their existing Greenfingers gardens.

Our Garden Ambassadors:

• Tend to the plants and features that make each garden unique

• Share their horticultural knowledge and practical advice with hospice teams and volunteer gardeners

• Help volunteers feel confident in caring for and maintaining their garden

• Provide practical support to help each space remain safe, welcoming and enjoyable

Every visit, every piece of advice and every snip of the pruning shears is an act of care. Thanks to the dedication of our Garden Ambassadors, these special spaces will provide places to play, learn, grow, care and remember, year after year.
