Holiday Inn Washington had a Super Sunday of their own last weekend (24/06/18) to raise funds for Greenfingers Charity.
Around 15 members of staff took part in a 20 mile sponsored cycle ride in Sunday’s scorching temperatures including General Manager, Paul Mandeir, and MD of Owned Hotels for Kew Green Hotels, Neil Sewell.
Others took charity buckets to a bag pack kindly hosted by B&M Bargains.
Back at the hotel, there was a raffle as well as other World Cup related fundraising activities on top of the ever-popular sweet jar fund and tantalizing lemon challenge. Holiday Inn Washington have also decided, rather than charging a fee, to ask for donations for use of their mini gym.
Staff have been involved in planting at the soon-to-be opened magical Greenfingers garden at Grace House in Sunderland.
