About Us

Greenfingers – the garden industry charity

Greenfingers creates magical gardens for children’s hospices. Children with life-limiting conditions, and their families and carers, all need the therapeutic benefits that a garden can bring. A Greenfingers’ garden can be a place to play, or a place to rest; it can be a place to be together, or a place for quiet contemplation; it can be a place for laughter or a place for reflection.

As a charity that has arisen from the gardening industry itself, led by Gardening writer and broadcaster Richard Jackson, Greenfingers prides itself on delivering top quality gardens for children who really need them. By bringing together expertise and top quality products – often as donations themselves – Greenfingers is able to increase the value of every donation it receives. All gardens ensure equal access for children in wheelchairs including all the garden play equipment.
