Greenfingers creates magical gardens for children’s hospices. Children with life-limiting conditions, and their families and carers, all need the benefits that a garden can bring. A Greenfingers’ garden can be a place to play, or a place to rest; it can be a place to be together, or a place for quiet contemplation; it can be a place for laughter or a place for reflection. And whatever it is, it is always a truly magical place!

As a charity that has arisen from the gardening industry itself, Greenfingers prides itself on delivering top quality gardens for children who really need them. By bringing together expertise and top quality products – often as donations themselves – we are able to increase the value of every donation we receive.

Since our beginning in 1999, we have raised over £1million and created 27 gardens at children’s hospices throughout the UK – and each one has been different. From a race-track in Loughborough, a football pitch in Newcastle, through to a wheel-chair friendly tree-house (complete with a tree!) in Oxford, Greenfingers gardens bring joy and life to the lives of children and their families for whom every day is precious.

We have a waiting list of children’s hospices that need our gardens and we simply don’t have the funds to create them yet! Please help and support our work: every gift is gratefully received and makes such a difference.
