We love supporters who like to get down and dirty for Greenfingers Charity so we were delighted to hear that one team of supporters are willing to get covered head to toe in mud in support of the charity!
A team of four runners from The Solar Centre leaped at the chance to take part in a Rough Runners event this September which will see them run up to 15km over obstacles inspired by game shows such as – Takeshi’s Castle, Wipeout and Gladiator.
The team members, including the Managing Director, David Eaton, may be of varying fitness levels but they are united in their support for Greenfingers Charity with David explaining,
“I love what Greenfingers Charity does, so when my friends Daniel, Darren and James suggested we do rough runner and try to raise some money for charity I immediately told them about the great work you guys do and they all agreed that it is a very worthwhile charity to support.”
The run will take place on the 18th September and we wish all four runners the very best of luck with their challenge. If you would like to show your support for the team, please sponsor them via their Justgiving page by clicking the link below.
If you have been inspired by the Rough Runners and would like to take on a challenge for Greenfingers Charity, however big or small, we would love to hear from you! Please get in touch with Ollie via email: email@example.com or by calling the fundraising team on 01494 674749.
