We were delighted to be surrounded by so many interesting and active Buckinghamshire businesses this lunch time as we held a networking lunch as part of Universal Care Uk’s 30th year celebrations.
This year Universal Care Uk have kindly chosen to celebrate its 30 year anniversary by giving 30 local charities a generous cash donation as well as the use of a conference room to be used accordingly by each charity.
Greenfingers Charity hosted a networking lunch in the conference room this week open to local businesses who were interested in hearing more about and supporting the charity. Beaconsfield Town Mayor, Councillor Patrick Hogan attended alongside the Town Crier, Dick Smith who welcomed all guests before ringing the town crier bell to announce lunch. Representatives from companies such as Grant & Stone and Johnson & Johnson also joined us at the event alongside friendly faces from local schools and funeral companies, all of whom were keen to hear more about our upcoming projects.
We would like to thank Universal Care for their generous support of local charities through their anniversary scheme. We would also like to thank everyone who joined us at the event today and hope that you were inspired by our projects and the work we do creating magical gardens for children in hospices across the UK.
