What's Planned for Garden Re-Leaf Day 2018?

Following a truly fantastic Garden Re-Leaf Day this year, we are delighted to announce plans for next year's event are well underway.

In 2017 a staggering £100,000 was raised, and with your support, we are hoping to raise even more in 2018. Here's what we have planned...

Garden Re-Leaf Day Walk

Get a group of friends together and help us kick-start the gardening season by joining the Garden Re-Leaf Day Walk on Friday 16th March. Starting and finishing at World's End Garden Centre, Wendover, there will be two routes available this year; a gentle 10 mile walk or a more challenging 20 mile route through the Chilterns. Whether you’re looking for a leisurely stroll or a fitness challenge to see in the new year, we’d love to see you at the start line! Visit our website and fill out the Garden Re-Leaf Day Walk form to book your place.

Garden Re-Leaf Cycle Challenge

New for 2018, Garden Re-Leaf are introducing a Cycle Ride Challenge for bike enthusiasts.  The route wil start in World's End Garden Centre, Wendover and take in the scenic Chiltern hills and idyllic countryside.  There will be two routes available, 50 miles and 100 miles. This challenge is certainly not for the faint hearted and will require grit and endurance to get to the finish line.  Visit our website and fill out the Garden Re-Leaf Day Cycle Challenge form to book your place.

12 Hour Plantathon

This is a challenge event like no other, as supporters in garden centres across the country pot up as many plants as possible within a 12 hour time frame. Sponsored to plant from dawn to dusk, we have seen many garden centres have brilliant fun with this challenge, going on to upsell their pots with a donation from each going to Greenfingers. This is a great team building event and an excellent way to engage with your customers and local media friends. For more information about holding a Plantathon in your garden centre, or a garden centre local to you, please fill in the registration form on the Events page on our website

Go Green For Greenfingers (#GG4GF)

What's the easiest way to raise funds for Greenfingers? Go green! Encourage your friends andcolleagues to donate £1 and wear green on Garden Re-Leaf Day (Friday 16th March) to help us raise money for seriously-ill children spending time in a hospice. Some of our supporters have raised hundreds of pounds by holding extra events on the day including fancy dress competitions, raffles and quizzes.

More Ways to Fundraise...

We are grateful for everyone’s support, so whether you’d like to join us on the Greenfingers Walk, host a plantathon, Go Green For Greenfingers or you have a fundraising idea of your own, please get in touch by filling out the form on our Events page. This way we can keep in touch with you and ensure you benefit from the PR we have planned.
