What an amazing day we had on 7th December as our festive volunteers ran the 2014 Santa Run to raise much needed funds for Greenfingers. Despite the freezing weather, the driving rain and the mud under foot our team of runners donned crazy beards and oversized costumed with great enthusiasm ahead of running the 5km or 10km course.
Once everyone had got their trousers and beards on the right way round seeing all those people dressed up in Santa suits was a real treat – from the group stretching and warm up to the actual run there was a fantastic spirit amongst all the runners and we are thrilled to report we are almost at our fundraising target for the event!
