Greenfingers have been chosen as the official charity of The Edible Garden Show 2016 which will take place 11-13 March 2016 at Stoneleigh Park in Warwickshire.
The show – the first gardening show of the year – immerses visitors in all things ‘Good Life’ with horticultural experts on hand to share their wealth of gardening knowledge and inspire people at the start of the gardening year. There is also a ‘Village Green’ giving visitors a taste of a village fete – look out for morris dancers, tasty treats and real ales. Vistors can also enjoy cooking demonstrations with ideas on how to get the most out of your organic home grown veg; the ‘potting shed’ where people can get expert advice and tips; a farm area with a host of animals to pet; a family zone and even a chicken coop! What’s not to love! To buy tickets for the show please visit The Edible Garden Show website.
Linda Petrons, Head of Fundraising at Greenfingers says, “We are delighted that The Edible Garden Show and Good Life Live has decided to support Greenfingers as their chosen charity for 2016. As a small national charity, Greenfingers is dedicated to supporting the children who use hospices around the UK, along with their families, by creating inspiring gardens for them to relax in and enjoy. This partnership will not only raise awareness of the work we do, it will also raise funds which will help us continue creating magical garden spaces for children and families.”
