On behalf of everyone at Greenfingers Charity, thank you so much for registering to take part in this year’s Greenfingers Garden Re-Leaf Day. Once again we have been overwhelmed by the generosity of those who have signed up.
Whether you’re one of our brilliant ongoing supporters or you’re joining us for the first time, we hope you have great fun whilst raising money to bring the precious gift of a garden to life-limited children, and their families, who spend time in hospices across the UK.
From Hellebores, plant-athons and megathons, to raffles and quizzes, cake sales and afternoon teas, (as well as fundraising on QVC!) there really is something for everyone; the garden lover, café visitor and the quizzical. Have-a-goers who like the chance to win something are also in for a big treat this year.
If you’re taking part in the Garden Re-Leaf Day walk, prepare yourself for the beautiful sights of the historic city of Cambridge, exploring the grounds of Jesus College and enjoying the Botanic Gardens. To top it all off, a delicious barbecue will meet you at the finish point. Yum!
However you’re taking part, we hope you’ll have a fantastic event that will lead to some great local and industry publicity.
With more magical children’s hospice gardens in the planning, build or design stages, the money you raise will help us make such a big difference. We’re currently on site at
Keech Hospice Care (Luton)
Helen House (Oxford)
and planning new gardens at
Alexander Devine Children’s Hospice (Maidenhead)
Grace House (Sunderland)
Robin House on the banks of Loch Lomond, St Andrew’s Hospice (Grimbsy)
and we have more hospices waiting in the wings for our help.
It is solely down to the generosity of our supporters that we can carry on creating magical, inspiring and therapeutic gardens for children in hospices.
So thank you very much for being part of Garden Re-Leaf Day and helping Greenfingers Charity continue its work.
A million thanks for helping to make a difference.
