Greenfingers Garden Re-Leaf Day is Greenfingers Charity’s biggest annual fundraising day supported throughout the gardening industry and beyond. Established in 2012 Greenfingers Garden Re-Leaf Day is now a major feature on the garden industry’s calendar with garden centres, growers, suppliers and trade associations all being major supporters of the event which has to date raised £390,000 for Greenfingers Charity.
The event takes place each March in the hope of raising money for Greenfingers Charity whilst kick starting the gardening season for retailers and suppliers.
This year, Greenfingers Garden Re-Leaf Day took place on Friday 18th March and was the biggest event to date with events and activities held up and down the country raising an incredible £140,000 for Greenfingers Charity.
Highlights of this years fundraising extravaganza included amazing trade promotions by Gardman and Briers, the 24 hour Plant-athon and the Garden Re-Leaf Day Walk which had the added bonus of being a fantastic networking event. The phenomenal efforts of QVC and the generous suppliers who donated products to their special television shows also raised a fabulous sum on the day! And garden centres and others showed their support in cafes and on the shop floor.
