With a number of different areas to look at, Greenfingers chose three projects which were of greater direct benefit to the children and families.
The children's garden was given life, colour and running water to give a bright and lively place to stimulate the children. The Memorial Garden also benefitted from running water, creating a tranquil, calming atmosphere. Special garden lighting was added to give a mgical touch to all the different areas.
Sue Stevens, the Deputy Clinical Nurse Manager told us: "For children who are sensory deprived, there are smells and sounds; for those who have limited movement the pathways are wide enough to allow then access...All the families and siblings are included in (our) activitites as they build memories that families treasure for many years. Thank you all once again."
