Fernstone Rainbows Hospice: Sensory Garden - Hexham

The Rainbow Trust Children's Hospice needed a sensory garden to engage the children who used their services.

With a sweeping yellow brick road, landscaped log bed and spiral grass mounds, the new garden at the Rainbow Trust's Fernstone hospice created a truly wonderful feeling. A range of sensory experiences were catered for, through aromatic and colourful plants and the inclusion of sheltered seating ensured that the garden met the needs of the hospice completely.
