Helen House: Play Garden - Oxford

Helen House already had an established garden when they approached Greenfingers, but what they really needed was a children’s play area.

The site in front of the hospice was small but still had room for plants as well as play equipment. The project included a wooden adventure play area with tunnels for the children to climb through and a slide.

Catherine Wilson, public relations officer for Helen House, said “We are incredibly grateful to Greenfingers. We simply could not have afforded to do this without the money that Greenfingers provided and we would still have a horrible piece of wasteland in front of the house. This place will come into its own and provide the children with somewhere nice to play outside, instead of being on top of each other in the house.”
